Scott's Discovery Hut

This hut was built by Robert Falcon Scott and his crew in 1902.  The lived on their ship, the Discovery, but used the hut for storage, cooking and as a theater.  It was used as the stepping off point for Scott's ill-fated trip to the South Pole in 1911-1912, and later by Shackleton in 1914-1917.
