February 1, 2008 SOARS, Significant Opportunities in Atmospheric Research and Science 10-week summer program at NCAR in Boulder, Colorado, with competitive wages, travel assistance to and from home, and paid housing and local transportation Have completed 2 years of college; 3.0 or better GPA; member of a group that is historically under-represented in the atmospheric and related sciences, including students who are Black or African American, American Indian or Alaskan Native, and Hispanic or Latino; female or first generation students; or have experienced, and worked to overcome, educational or economic disadvantage; and/or have personal or family circumstances that may complicate their continued progress in research careers

February 8, 2008 NOAA Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship $8000/yr, plus $6500 summer internship with housing Full-time Junior in Fall, 2008; 3.0 or better GPA
April 4, 2008 SEBS Scholarships Over 500 scholarships will be awarded through this one application. Award amounts vary, and range up to $4,000. Entering SEBS sophomores (Class of 2011), juniors (Class of 2010), and seniors (Class of 2009)
