Information for workshop participants.

Local Organizer: Annmarie Carlton (Rutgers University)

Objectives of the Workshop:

  • Identify and refine the most critical open questions regarding biosphere/atmosphere interactions, with special emphasis on the Southeastern U.S. and the associated temperature anomalies
  • Identify which questions have the highest likelihood of being addressed successfully as a community
  • Identify critical measurements, measurement strategies and measurement locations that would address the most important and potentially solvable science questions
  • Alert the larger community of our findings and study needs

This workshop is sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
